A Beautiful Sunburst Brooch Pin from the Edwardian or Victorian time period. The center is a clean sparkling diamond with the sun's rays reaching out. The ends of the sun rays have a sweeping curve and help prevent sharp edges catching on clothing and are a nice design touch. Seed Pearls are set within the rays and on wire posts, in between. The back features a pin and large bale loop so that you may hang this on your favorite necklace. This one was hand made. The dimples are visible at the rear, where the pearls are mounted. This piece has a little wear with age, but that center diamond...wow!!
